9 – Can’t Help Falling in Love

Micky sighed as his eyes focused on the blinking LED light from his clock. Changmin was in the bed next to him, snoring away as the night hours passed by…but Micky couldn’t sleep. He stretched and put his hands behind his head. Stephanie was the only thing on his mind right now.

He thought back to when they first met. Micky remembered how fast his heart was beating and how nervous he felt. A small smile spread across his lips as he kept thinking about that day.

“Honestly…I think I was in love…” He thought. His mind brought back the memories of all the good times he spent with her. All the times he missed her while he was overseas and all the times he thought about her. Micky really did like her. A lot.

But that wasn’t the case anymore. His mind flashed to the night he got Ryeowook’s text message. Micky had never been best friends with Kibum, but they were pretty cool with each other. Now…Micky couldn’t even think about him without getting heated. He clenched his fists a little as he thought about all the times he saw Kibum with Stephanie. It made him mad because Stephanie was his, not Kibum’s. Micky was the one that talked to her first. He was the one that danced with her. He was the one that asked her out. Not Kibum. Micky’s thoughts were slowly being influenced by anger. He had tried and tried to keep Stephanie’s attention with the drinks, the presents, and the flowers after her debut…but it still felt like she was torn.

“I’ll make her mine…” Micky thought, a more sinister smile taking place of the earlier one.

To him, this wasn’t a relationship anymore. It was a race…a race to see who would get her heart first.
